Jesse Willms Makes Long Term Commitment To The World Vision Children's Charity

Jesse Willms, one of the youngest successful Internet entrepreneurs in Canadian history, has made a long-term commitment to helping World Vision give impoverished children the future they deserve.

Willms is a noted Internet entrepreneur who started making money online when he was only 16 years old, buying and selling computers and software online. By the time he was 22 years old he had launched several internet companies.
World Vision is an international Christian charity that provides faith, hope, food and medicine to children suffering from the effects of poverty. The charity allows donors to sponsor individual children, so they can see the direct effect their donations have on the children's lives. Willms started out with an initial sponsorship of over 99 children, and has sponsored an additional child every day since.

Houston, TX - As part of his ongoing philanthropic efforts Internet entrepreneur donated $25,000 to Boston Children's Hospital today.

"When children are sick they deserve the best care possible," Willms said. "Boston Children's Hospital is well known around the world for its high standards of treatment and care. One of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States, Boston Children's Hospital offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth through age 21. "I felt that partnering with Boston Children's Hospital was simply the right thing to do," Willms said.

Willms also donated $25,000 each to three other charities, including:
•    The Nevada YMCA
•    The Breast Cancer Research Fund
•    The Gulf Coast Restoration Fund
